Job summary

Traild is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform team. You’ll own the cloud-native platform across development and production, focusing on security, scalability, and reliability.

You’ll work with product, application, and infrastructure teams to accelerate delivery and maintain high availability across multiple cloud regions. You’ll design and maintain infrastructure as code (GCP, Terraform), manage Cloud Run and Kubernetes at scale, and champion observability, security, and

Qualifications

• Strong experience with GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Cloud Run.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Strong background in observability (logging, monitoring, alerting).
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar for automation and tooling.
• Deep understanding of cloud security, identity management, and secure delivery practices.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills across infrastructure, platforms, and build pipelines.
• A collaborative, customer-focused mindset with a passion for enabling others to ship faster with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Own observability systems, including logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting to improve visibility and incident response.
• Drive initiatives to reduce time-to-deploy and mean-time-to-recovery (MTTR).
• Improve platform performance, resilience, and cost efficiency through automation and optimization.
• Collaborate with product, application, and infrastructure teams to accelerate delivery and maintain high availability across cloud regions.
