Job summary

Harmony Australasia is seeking an experienced Superintendent Planning & Reliability to oversee the work management process for mobile fleet maintenance, leading planning and reliability teams and driving business improvement initiatives. The role operates on a FIFO 16/12 roster from Australia, with responsibilities including CMMS (Pronto) governance, weekly maintenance scheduling, and cost management.

A Mechanical Engineering degree or Heavy Fitter trade, mining maintenance experience, and

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Heavy Fitter Trade Qualification highly regarded.
• Mobile plant maintenance experience is essential.
• Experience in open-pit mining or heavy vehicle maintenance.
• Leadership experience in maintenance planning, reliability, or engineering within mining or heavy industry.
• Expert capability in planning and reliability applications and process.
• Experience in CMMS preferably Pronto.
• Experience in data management of CMMS Systems.
• Expert proficiency in reporting and data extraction tools and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volume of data in a CMMS System.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and track maintenance forecasts to a high compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and reliability tasks and mentor team members in their roles and CMMS usage, and oversee weekly maintenance scheduling.
• Provide planning advice, managing maintenance costs, and supporting administrative functions.
• Manage plant equipment data in the CMMS, producing reports for leadership, fostering stakeholder partnerships, and developing long-term maintenance and asset management plans & budgets.
• Focus on improving CMMS data integrity, maintenance strategies, and work management KPIs, managing the ANSI process, and engaging with OEMs to enhance and implement the established maintenance strategy.
• Strategic support function to ensure the effective execution of works to increase the overall reliability of the fleet.
