Job summary

Gold Fields in Perth is seeking a Senior Planner & Scheduler to shape maintenance planning across Mobile & Fixed assets. This leadership role drives advanced planning, optimisation and continuous improvement through disciplined Work Management processes, aligning with asset strategies and site priorities.

You will refine task content, materials strategies and planning practices, guiding maintenance execution and improving productivity, reliability and cost performance.

Qualifications

• Recognised trade or technical/tertiary qualification with extensive mining/resources experience in planning and scheduling.
• Advanced SAP skills across planning, scheduling and master data.

Responsibilities

• Develop review and challenge complex job plans, govern weekly schedules, lead planning discussions and coordinate cross-disciplinary resources.
• Optimise task lists and Bills of Materials, resolve planning inefficiencies, drive corrective actions and influence teams to lift Work Management KPI performance.
• Maintain accurate SAP master data, lead complex updates informed by strategy and reliability insights, and ensure alignment with GFA planning standards.
• Challenge vendor scopes and costs, improve utilisation of external service providers and provide performance feedback to support commercial decisions.
• Lead planning input into failure analysis, use data and KPIs to improve planning effectiveness, support budgeting and forecasting, and champion safe, disciplined planning practices.
