Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma relating to Land Use Planning from an Australian tertiary institution.
• Eligibility for admission to full membership of the Planning Institute of Australia.
• Experience with diverse land use, land capability and development planning issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice to the Department, DCA, NTPC and Minister on planning and development issues.
• Efficiently process planning applications and consult on strategic projects.
• Lead negotiations to achieve viable outcomes in compliance with the Planning Act 1999.
• Undertake site inspections and report on land capability and planning issues.
