Job summary

Downer Energy & Utilities is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to lead planning and scheduling across major projects and tenders. You will develop, maintain and monitor project schedules, working with bid teams, project managers, construction teams, clients and subcontractors to provide critical insights for informed decisions.

You bring at least 10 years in planning for power, water or utilities, advanced Primavera P6, CPM scheduling and strong communication.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of project planning and scheduling experience in power, water, or utilities environments.
Advanced Primavera P6 experience required.
Strong CPM scheduling and delay analysis knowledge.
Experience with detailed project delivery schedules.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience with earned value, schedule and cost reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proactive problem-solving and stakeholder influence across teams.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and scheduling across major projects and tenders.
Develop, maintain and monitor project schedules for successful delivery.
Collaborate with bid teams, project managers, construction teams, clients and subcontractors to provide critical insights and informed decisions.
Provide scheduling performance reporting and risk identification.
Influence and coordinate across project teams to align schedules with objectives.
