Job summary

Transport for NSW - Sydney International Airport NSW is seeking a Senior Place Governance & Projects Officer on a temporary basis up to 27 months. You will support place governance, revitalisation and placemaking across NSW to create vibrant, walkable communities, coordinating governance activities and stakeholder engagement.

The role requires proactive project experience with government grants, excellent written and verbal communication, strong organisational skills, and proficiency with MS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.

In this role, you'll:

Support the delivery of place governance, revitalisation and placemaking initiatives that create vibrant, walkable and connected communities across NSW. Working across a diverse portfolio of projects, grants and partnerships, you'll coordinate governance activities, prepare high-quality briefings and reports, manage stakeholder engagement, and contribute to the successful delivery of NSW Government funding programs from assessment through to acquittal and evaluation.

About you

You're a proactive and self-motivated project professional with experience supporting government-led grants, partnerships and/or place activation programs. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes. Highly organised, you can effectively manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work independently when required. You also bring a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel, along with experience using grant management systems such as OneGMS, SmartyGrants or similar platforms.
