Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer in Perth, WA, to join a leading project development and engineering team delivering major energy, resources and process industry projects. You will provide piping engineering expertise across the project's lifecycle from concept through to detailed design and execution.

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will deliver piping design, layout development, 3D model reviews, and ensure compliance with codes and standards while managing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of piping engineering experience in mining, energy, oil & gas, chemicals, or process plants.
• Strong experience in piping design and engineering, layout development, plot plans, 3D model reviews, and stress analysis.
• Experience on large-scale EPC/EPCM projects.
• Knowledge of international codes and standards.
• Experience managing engineering contractors and vendor interfaces.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assurance throughout design, construction, and operational phases.
• Oversee and review engineering contractor deliverables and activities.
• Review and approve piping engineering drawings, specifications, datasheets, and requisitions.
• Lead piping layout development, plot plan reviews, and 3D model assessments.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
