Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Senior Personal Injury Lawyer to join its NSW Workers' Compensation practice. You will manage end-to-end files, provide strategic advice, prepare evidence, and represent injured workers before the Personal Injury Commission (PIC).

Reporting to senior partners, you will draft ARD documents, dispute notices, and settlement deeds, while coordinating with insurers and medical professionals.

Qualifications

• Admitted as a Solicitor of the NSW Supreme Court with current unrestricted or restricted Practising Certificate.
• 2-3+ years' PAE in Personal Injury Law, focus on NSW Workers' Compensation matters.
• Experience appearing before the Personal Injury Commission (PIC).
• Proven deal-making, negotiation, and evidence gathering skills.

Responsibilities

• Case management of NSW workers' compensation files from intake to resolution.
• Draft ARD applications, dispute notices, submissions, witness statements, and settlement deeds.
• Conduct statutory research under the Work Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998.
• Utilise Smokeball to record notes, track dates, and manage workflows.
• Represent clients in teleconferences, conciliations, mediations, and PIC hearings.
• Brief Counsel for complex hearings and lead settlement negotiations with insurers.
