Department of Health, Tasmania seeks a physiotherapist with lymphoedema expertise to cover the North West region. The role involves delivering specialist services, liaising with providers, and contributing to service development across Burnie, Devonport and outreach sites.
You must be AHPRA-registered, possess strong clinical and leadership skills, and be able to supervise others. The position is fixed-term and part-time, with potential for further vacancies during the twelve-month window.
We are a mid-sized team servicing the North West Region of Tasmania. We are located between two acute hospitals (Burnie and Latrobe) and run outpatient and community services from both Burnie and Devonport. In addition, we support outreach sites with outpatient services and some inpatient services in Smithton, King Island and Queenstown.
As a widespread service, we work closely with our other Allied Health disciplines to service the region and this role is especially involved with Statewide Garment prescription and supply, GP’s, Community and Breast Care nurses and Podiatry.
You will have the support of a collaborative team of physiotherapists, allied health assistants and administration that are committed to the NW community and professional growth.
Fixed term part time, day worker position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 28 March 2027.

$117,272 to $126,182 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
