Job summary

Far West Local Health District in Broken Hill, NSW, is seeking a Physiotherapist Level 2/3 for a temporary full-time role (until 30 June 2027). The position offers a recruitment incentive and 38 hours per week with remuneration $47.98–$63.30 per hour plus superannuation.

You will join the First 2000 Days team, delivering patient-centred care to paediatric and women’s health clients, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive rural health environment.

Job description

This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme. This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.
