Job summary

Queensland Government, Brisbane - North, is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to work in the Emergency Department across a variety of caseloads. The role focuses on mentoring staff and students, contributing to research, quality improvement, and contemporary care models to improve health outcomes.

You will engage with interprofessional teams, support service delivery enhancements, and participate in ongoing professional development within a values-driven Metro North Health setting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to service delivery improvement through policy, procedures, evidence and guideline knowledge.
• Actively participate in professional and interprofessional team meetings including clinical case conferences and departmental meetings.
• Contribute to day-to-day management of a small work unit or team within the physiotherapy department and emergency department.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of research and quality improvement activities within the work unit, physiotherapy department and wider multidisciplinary team.
