Job summary

Metro North Health in Brisbane is seeking a physiotherapist to work autonomously across a varied caseload, including opportunities within the Emergency Department. You will contribute to research, quality improvement and contemporary models of care while mentoring staff and students.

Qualifications

• Contribute to service delivery improvement through policy, procedures, evidence and guideline knowledge.
• Actively participate in professional and interprofessional team meetings including clinical case conferences.
• Manage a small work unit within the physiotherapy department and emergency department.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of research and quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous physiotherapy across a varied caseload, including ED opportunities.
• Lead and mentor staff and students in the physiotherapy department.
• Participate in departmental and MDT meetings to drive care quality and outcomes.
• Support research, quality improvement and contemporary models of care.
