Job summary

Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking an experienced Senior Pharmacist to provide district-wide leadership across Hospital Avoidance Services. You will support HITH and Aged Care Outreach, offering strategic pharmacy guidance to improve safe medication practices and patient outcomes closer to home.

The role is temporary part time (16 hours/week) for 86 weeks, with a pro rata remuneration of $142,587.86 - $146,446.46 per annum.

Qualifications

• Senior Pharmacist with district-wide leadership experience across hospital and community services.
• Provides strategic pharmacy advice to support safe medication management.
• Aims to improve patient outcomes closer to home.
• Experience across Hospital In the Home (HITH) and Aged Care Outreach is preferred.
