Job summary

Darling Downs Hospital & Health Service is seeking a Senior Pharmacist (Aseptic Production) to ensure patients receive safe, timely and high‑quality medicines. You will lead specialist aseptic production services and collaborate with pharmacists, nurses and prescribers to optimise cancer care and service delivery.

You’ll mentor the pharmacy team, drive quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to continual improvement across the clinical pharmacy function while upholding compassionate

• Current registration as a pharmacist with the relevant Australian registration authority.
• Strong experience in aseptic production, quality systems and safe medication management.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and support staff within a complex healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with multidisciplinary teams.

As a Senior Pharmacist (Aseptic Production), you'll help ensure patients receiving cancer treatment have access to safe, timely and high-quality medicines. From leading specialist compounding services to supporting service improvements and multidisciplinary care, you'll contribute to outcomes that positively impact patients, colleagues and the broader community.
