About the Role:

We’re seeking a highly experienced Senior People and Culture Advisor to join our team based at our Balcatta office. Reporting directly to the People and Culture Manager, you’ll play a strategic and hands-on role in supporting leaders across the organization. With a strong focus on employee and industrial relations, you’ll influence key people initiatives, support change management, and help build a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR and employee relations advice to leaders, ensuring consistent, fair, and compliant outcomes.
  • Lead the negotiation and implementation of Enterprise Agreements, working with stakeholders to align outcomes with business needs and legal requirements.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters including investigations, grievances, and performance management.
  • Support organizational change initiatives including restructures, workforce planning, and policy review.
  • Monitor industrial relations trends and legislative changes, advising on potential impacts.
  • Lead or contribute to strategic HR projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Conduct exit interviews and generate actionable insights to improve engagement and retention.
  • Promote and support a positive, inclusive, and safe workplace culture.

Key requirements:

  • At least 8 years’ experience in Human Resources, with proven capability in employee and industrial relations.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating Enterprise Agreements and managing complex ER cases.
  • In-depth understanding of Australian employment legislation, WHS, and Fair Work obligations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret and draft complex documents clearly and concisely.
  • Proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential matters with integrity and discretion.
