NSW Health’s Sydney Local Health District seeks a Senior Peer Support Worker for the Safe Haven program, based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. This role uses lived experience to support consumer recovery across mental health services, with a strong emphasis on peer-led interventions and community connections.

The position is temporary Full Time (38 hours/week) up to June 2029, with salary range $1,295.24–$2,366.94 per week plus superannuation, and requires a graduate or non-graduate health

Competenze

• Personal experience of mental distress and recovery principles.
• Experience as a Peer Support Worker with group and individual peer-led interventions.
• Understanding of the broader lived experience movement and co-production principles.
