Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) is seeking a Senior Peer Specialist to use lived experience to support recovery and wellbeing in a mental health setting. The role includes leading peer groups, mentoring staff, and contributing to care plans, with a focus on community connection.

About You

You’re a lived experience leader passionate about recovery and peer support. You bring insight, empathy and the ability to connect with consumers, carers and teams to support meaningful outcomes.

• Cert IV in Peer Work, Intentional Peer Support or willingness to obtain
• Lived experience of mental health and recovery
• Experience in peer work and group support settings
• Apply recovery, trauma informed and strengths based care
• Communicate well and work collaboratively with teams
