Job summary

The Senior Psychologist at the Women’s and Children’s Health Network in North Adelaide is responsible for developing, coordinating, delivering and evaluating high-quality psychological services to children and young people with haematological and oncological conditions, in a trauma-informed, family-centred framework within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and endorsement in Clinical, Health or Educational and Developmental

Qualifications

• General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and endorsement in Clinical, Health, or Educational and Developmental Psychology.
• Approved supervisor status with the Psychology Board of Australia at all levels of supervision.
• Experience assessing and treating children, adolescents and families with complex psychological and psychosocial needs.
• Experience providing clinical psychology services in a hospital and multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
• Experience in clinical supervision, teaching and quality improvement.

• Provision of high-quality specialist psychological services.
• Contribute to ongoing development and improvement of clinical service delivery to patients with haematological or oncological conditions.
• Professional practice, personal and professional development, and contribution to the Psychology discipline.
• Contribute to a positive multi-disciplinary team environment.
