Job summary

A prominent recruitment firm in Australia is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to manage high-volume payroll operations across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in processing large payrolls and possess strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation. Qualifications

• Significant experience in high-volume payroll environments.
• Proven experience processing large payrolls of 1000+ employees end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process multiple weekly and fortnightly payroll runs.
• Maintain employee records and manage entitlements, allowances, and deductions.
• Ensure accurate STP reporting and compliance with ATO requirements.
• Respond to payroll queries and provide expert support.

Skills

High-volume payroll experience

End-to-end processing of large payrolls (1000+ employees)

Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
