Job summary

Absolute Payroll is seeking an experienced Payroll professional to own end-to-end payroll for a global consultancy in Adelaide. You will liaise with auditing and finance teams, ensure compliance, and deliver timely reports and tax filings.

The role supports a stable, collaborative team culture and offers flexible hours within a five-day in-office pattern, ideal for work-life balance while maintaining payroll excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience managing end-to-end payroll cycles.
• Experience with payroll reporting and compliance.
• Ability to support audits and tax filings.
• Mentor junior staff and share best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing in a team of 3.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports.
• Handle reconciliations between payroll and finance systems.
• Deliver payroll tax filings, superannuation, and year-end reporting.
• Support internal and external audits, liaising with agencies and auditors as needed.
• Mentor and support junior payroll staff, promoting best practice.
• Keep the business ahead of payroll legislation changes and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Get involved in process improvement and general finance admin as needed.
