Recruitment Net in Sydney is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer for a newly created role in Smeaton Grange. You will own end-to-end payroll for about 200 employees across three states using Employment Hero, with the CFO overseeing a streamlined payroll function.

This role offers an up-to AUD 120,000 plus super, flexible start/finish times, and a one-day-per-week WFH arrangement within a growing accounting team.

Competenze

• End-to-end payroll experience across multiple states or locations.
• Understanding of interpreting Awards and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Employment Hero is ideal but not required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine interest in payroll and contributing to a positive team culture.
• Ability to streamline processes and improve payroll workflows.

Mansioni

• Own and manage payroll for ~200 employees across three states using Employment Hero.
• Streamline payroll processes and configure Employment Hero where needed.
• Process fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles.
• Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

The role:

Reporting to an experienced CFO you will take control of the Payroll function covering approximately 200 people across 3 States through Employment Hero. You will have the opportunity to streamline processes and further configure Employment Hero, which was implemented 6 months ago. You will also be working with awards, processing fortnightly and Monthly payrolls, managing employee payroll enquires, coordinate workers comp' payments, administering salary sacrificing and reporting.

• Employment Hero experience is ideal but not necessary
• Understanding of interpreting Awards
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• A love of Payroll as this is not a mundane role.
