Job summary

Reo Group is partnering with a leading national construction business to recruit a Senior Payroll Officer for a 12 Month FTC in Adelaide. You will manage end-to-end payroll for a large national workforce using Chris21, across a supportive team focused on accuracy and customer service.

In this hybrid role, you will work with HR and Finance, handling payroll queries, new starters, terminations, and reporting, with flexible hours and work-from-home options to balance commitments.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering end-to-end payroll for large workforces.
  • Ability to process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Experience using Chris21 is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll for a large national workforce.
  • Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time in accordance with relevant legislation and awards.
  • Handle payroll queries from employees and stakeholders.
  • Process new starters, terminations, leave and payroll adjustments.
  • Reconcile payroll data and assist with reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within Chris21.
  • Support payroll compliance, audits and continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance and operational stakeholders across the business.

Salary: Up to $100k + Super

Role Highlights

This role is a 12 Month FTC opportunity to join a well-established national organisation with a significant workforce and a stable, experienced finance function.

Working alongside a highly regarded Payroll Manager and supportive team, you'll be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing across a large employee base using Chris21. You'll enjoy a collaborative environment where accuracy, teamwork and customer service are highly valued, while benefiting from flexible working arrangements including work-from-home options and flexibility around start and finish times.

Responsibilities
  • Processing end-to-end payroll for a large national workforce
  • Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time in accordance with relevant legislation and awards

Candidate Profile

We're looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You'll have previous experience processing end-to-end payroll for a large workforce and be confident managing complex payroll requirements with a strong focus on accuracy and customer service.

Experience using Chris21 is highly regarded and will allow you to hit the ground running.

You’ll be organised, proactive and able to build positive working relationships across the business. Just as importantly, you’ll enjoy being part of a supportive team where everyone works together to achieve shared outcomes.
