Job summary

Appreciating Talent seeks a Senior Payroll Officer in Sydney to lead payroll compliance and governance within the Payroll Accounting function. You will work closely with the Payroll Manager and ER team to apply legislation and ensure policy alignment across payroll processes.

Responsibilities include overseeing payroll processing, managing EOFY and group tax activities, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to National Employment Standards and relevant awards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading payroll compliance and governance.
• Knowledge of National Employment Standards and relevant awards.
• Ability to manage EOFY, audits, and payroll tax processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll compliance and governance within Payroll Accounting.
• Communicate system changes to employees and coordinate with HR, union, and legal teams on EBA changes.
