Job summary
Mott MacDonald, Brisbane, is seeking a talented Pavement Engineer to join our Queensland Transport team. You will lead pavement projects, mentor junior engineers, and develop high-standard design reports and drawings for national and international assignments.
The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, RPEQ (or in progress within 6 months), and strong pavement design experience. Chartered professional status is preferred, with opportunities for progression within a supportive, diverse
Qualifications
- Pavement design experience and technical skills are essential.
- Experience on multi-disciplinary civil infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support national and international pavement projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and assist with new bids.
- Develop technical design reports and drawings to high standards.
- Demonstrate understanding of flexible and rigid pavement design per Austroads guidelines.
- Contribute to transport engineering design across tunnels, ports, intermodals, haul roads, rail and aviation when needed.
