Job summary

Department of Education & Training, Victoria is seeking a Senior Jobs Skills Pathways Officer to work 0.5 FTE in a multi-disciplinary regional team. The role focuses on strengthening vocational and applied learning pathways in schools and providing place-based support to school staff.

Reporting to the Area Jobs Skills and Pathways Manager, you will help implement careers reforms, monitor initiatives, and collaborate with area staff to target local needs and continuous improvement in post-school

Responsibilities

• Provision of support and advice to schools, area teams, networks and clusters and as required other stakeholders, on implementation of high quality vocational and applied learning pathways, careers and senior secondary pathways.
• Supporting the implementation of the suite of careers and pathways reforms in government schools.
• Provision of data and monitoring support to regarding the implementation of key initiatives and identify schools requiring additional supports where required.
