Job summary

Aureus Private Wealth is expanding and seeks a senior paraplanner who can take complex files and produce clear, compliant Statements of Advice for Australian clients. You’ll join a team-backed environment, work with advisers and a paraplanning lead, and explore AI-enabled workflows to improve turnaround and accuracy while maintaining governance and ASIC compliance.

In this fully remote role, you’ll manage your queue, deliver high-quality SoAs and RoAs on time, and contribute to process

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years preparing Australian SoAs and RoAs.
• Strong knowledge of superannuation, retirement planning, investments, SMSFs and personal insurance.
• Solid understanding of ASIC requirements and advice compliance.
• Daily use of XPLAN and experience with research platforms.
• Bonus: experience with AI-assisted paraplanning tools such as Claude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SoAs and RoAs for Australian advisers across super, retirement, investments, SMSFs and personal insurance.
• Work with Paraplanning Team Lead, Research, Implementation and advisers.
• Help shape paraplanning processes and identify AI-enabled efficiencies.
• Ensure quality, compliant documents and timely delivery.

Aureus Private Wealth is growing, and our advisers need a senior paraplanner who can take a complex file and turn it into a clear, compliant Statement of Advice without being chased. If you’re the person advisers trust to get it right the first time, this role is built for you.

The role

You’ll prepare SoAs and RoAs for our Australian advisers across super, retirement, investments, SMSFs and personal insurance. You’ll work with our Paraplanning Team Lead, Research, Implementation and advisers. Over time, you’ll help shape how our paraplanning runs, including where AI can save hours.

What you’ll deliver

• Quality advice documents: complex SoAs and RoAs that pass compliance first time.
• Reliable turnaround: you manage your own queue and flag gaps or risks early.
• Better process: templates, checklists and AI-assisted workflows that lift the whole team.

What success looks like in 90 days

• You’re producing complex SoAs independently, on time.
• Advisers rarely send work back.
• You’ve put forward at least one improvement to how we work.
