Job summary
Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with RN/M4 endorsement to lead autonomous palliative care across community, acute and aged care settings in Barmera and surrounding towns. You will provide advanced nursing care, clinical leadership, education and supervision, working with stakeholders to drive quality outcomes for consumers.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and enhance palliative care services in the region.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current or eligible Nurse Practitioner endorsement and practising certificate.
- Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience with advanced palliative care nursing expertise.
- Demonstrated autonomous practice, clinical leadership and effective multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, change management and quality improvement skills.
- Commitment to consumer-centred, culturally safe care, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Tertiary qualifications in nursing, human services or a related discipline.
- Ability to work collaboratively, support staff development and confidently use relevant computer systems.
- Experience in quality improvement, nursing research and knowledge of the South Australian Public Health System.
