Job summary

Programmed is seeking a Senior Maintenance Tradesperson to join our brewery operations in Geelong. You will drive packaging process improvements and support production teams to meet site targets while ensuring safe, efficient systems.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, CMMS knowledge, and the ability to influence change within a lean FMCG environment. This is a full-time on-site position at our Geelong facility.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholders.
• Change management capability to communicate and influence improvements.
• Knowledge of maintenance systems and CMMS usage, preferably MEX.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office to document and report.
• Understanding packaging machinery in FMCG environments.
• Experience with lean manufacturing to drive performance improvements.
• Familiarity with packaging machinery in FMCG is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver process improvements in packaging as defined by the departmental strategy.
• Support site and production teams to meet brewery scorecard targets through best-practice improvements.
• Implement change management and technical optimization of systems.
• Assist with structured problem solving on plant or reliability issues.
• Provide hands-on support to shift reliability teams as needed.
• Ensure maintenance standards align with safe engineering practices.
