Job summary

Asahi Beverages in Melbourne is seeking a Packaging Reliability & Maintenance Manager to lead the teams, systems and strategies that keep our packaging operations safe, reliable and performing at their best.

You’ll develop proactive maintenance plans, improve equipment reliability and deliver capital and new product projects, partnering with production, engineering and site teams to embed a practical, high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have maintenance, reliability or asset management experience within manufacturing.
• Proven track record improving equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance, risk assessment and safety requirements.
• Experience managing projects and budgets with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Packaging Engineering Specialist team and foster a high-performing culture.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies and shutdown plans to improve plant reliability.
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan and manage capital and operational expenditure and service agreements.
• Partner with production, engineering and site teams to align maintenance with safety and quality priorities.
• Maintain contractor, change and compliance processes.
