Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) seeks a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the NDIS Assessment Team, delivering specialist assessment, intervention and assistive technology support for people with complex disability needs. Help patients move through hospital and into the right supports with confidence and continuity.

You will collaborate with NDIA and multidisciplinary teams, lead discharge planning, and mentor colleagues while advancing evidence-based OT practice within CALHN,

Qualifications

Hold an OT degree and be eligible for OTBA registration.
Bring current experience supporting adults with complex disability.
Apply advanced clinical reasoning across complex NDIS transitions.
Communicate and negotiate confidently with diverse stakeholders.
Lead teamwork, supervision and evidence-based OT practice.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist OT assessment and intervention for complex NDIS patients.
Prescribe assistive technology and shape NDIS recommendations.
Lead complex discharge planning across acute and sub-acute services.
Partner with NDIA, community providers and multidisciplinary teams.
Mentor clinicians and support OT education, quality and practice.
