Northern Beaches Hospital Inpatient Mental Health Units is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (Level 3) to join a recovery-oriented, multidisciplinary team. The role delivers advanced occupational therapy across the Adult Mental Health Unit, PECC and Psychogeriatric Unit, with leadership and service development responsibilities.

The successful candidate will provide assessment, intervention, care coordination and discharge planning to optimise participation, independence and recovery,

Formación

• Full registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia; extensive Level 2 experience.
• Proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication; ability to liaise with health professionals and external service providers; computer literacy.
• Experience initiating, leading, completing and sharing quality improvement activities or service evaluation; experience supervising students/Allied Health staff.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced occupational therapy services across the Adult Mental Health Unit, PECC, and Psychogeriatric Unit.
• Deliver comprehensive assessment, intervention, care coordination and discharge planning to support complex mental health needs and enhance participation, functioning and recovery.
• Provide clinical leadership within the multidisciplinary team and promote best practice consistent with professional standards.
