Job summary

Avina Therapy is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Brisbane West/Ipswich team, supporting NDIS participants across Ipswich, Springfield, Ripley, Redbank Plains and nearby western suburbs.

You will work across home, school, community and telehealth settings, delivering practical, person-centred therapy that fosters independence and meaningful daily goals. Caseloads will be built around where you live, offering travel flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration or eligibility.
• NDIS Worker Screening and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for community work.
• A collaborative and person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver functional, person-centred Occupational Therapy
• Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy
• Support participants to build independence and achieve meaningful goals
• Work across home, school, community and telehealth settings
• Collaborate with families, carers and multidisciplinary colleagues
• Facilitating supervision with junior team members
• Engaging in peer learning and professional development
