Job summary

EverAbility Group is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist – Assistive Technology to deliver OT assessments and interventions for people with vision impairment. The role is fixed-term, part-time (0.8FTE) to cover parental leave, based in Victoria Park, WA, with a focus on assistive technology and vision-related devices.

Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential. You will provide clinical supervision, manage caseloads, and contribute to quality improvement while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and current Australian AHPRA registration.
• Experience prescribing high-tech assistive technology.
• Ability to manage a caseload and meet service delivery objectives/timeframes.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and person-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions for adults and children with vision impairment.
• Provide expert advice on vision-related assistive technology and mentor staff.
• Manage client caseload in line with funding requirements and outcomes.
• Conduct home, workplace and community-based assessments and training.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, assessment reports and documentation.
• Provide supervision and support to OT staff and students.
• Respond to Assistive Technology Helpdesk enquiries and provide timely solutions.
• Undertake additional duties to meet team and organisational objectives.
