Job summary

KBR Government Solutions in Alice Springs is seeking an Operations Manager for Housing & Leasing Services to oversee facilities operations, staffing, budgeting, and cross‑functional program delivery for US Government employees at a 4,400‑acre site.

This senior role requires a degree in Operations Management or related field, five years in a similar field, strong analytical and people leadership capabilities, and an active security clearance; you will manage risk, drive continuous improvement,

Qualifications

• A degree in Operations Management, Human Resources, Real Estate, or a similar Business related study from an accredited college or university
• Five (5) years of experience working in Operations Management, Human Resources, Real Estate, or a similar Business related field, preferably on other Government-sponsored programs or facility management operations
• Demonstrated analytical skills and programmatic planning, budgeting and oversite
• Demonstrated strong people management skills
• Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet short timelines
• Holistic Integration: Champion cross-functional team efforts to deliver a synchronized service that addresses every angle of the Government's requirements.
• Risk Management: Strategize and allocate funds for risk mitigation, safeguarding project outcomes
• Communication: Communicate effectively with all customers, and maintain a transparent and proactive dialogue with the Government, ensuring clarity and prompt resolution of issues.
• Customer Service: Demonstrate strong customer service skills
• Possess an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance or Host Nation NV-1 Clearance

Responsibilities

• Experience in facilities operations, maintenance, and support services ensuring continuous availability of facility infrastructure.
• Five (5) years of experience in related fields, preferably on Government programs or facility management operations.
