Job summary

Mars Recruitment is partnering with a leading financial services organisation to onboard a senior member of the Enterprise Risk function. You will provide independent second-line oversight, challenge and advice across the organisation, partnering with senior leaders and risk owners to strengthen operational risk capability and risk culture.

You will drive enhancements to risk frameworks, review first-line assessments, and contribute to Board-level risk reporting.

Qualifications

8+ years' experience across Operational, Enterprise or Non-Financial Risk.
Strong second-line risk oversight with practical, commercially focused advice.
Knowledge of APRA CPS 220 and CPS 230 is desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide second-line oversight across operational and non-financial risk.
Partner with senior stakeholders and risk owners to identify, assess and manage key risks.
Drive enhancements to the Risk Management Framework and risk culture.
Review and challenge risk assessments, controls, incidents and remediation activities.
Oversee RCSA, risk appetite metrics, controls and assurance activities.
Conduct thematic reviews to identify emerging risk themes.
Support governance and risk reporting to senior management and Board.
Develop and maintain risk policies, standards and training materials.
