Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) provides education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs).
The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services to the CECG system of Schools and ELCs through seven Service Areas. These Service Areas include: Education and Performance Improvement; Catholic Identity; School and Family Services; Strategy and Special Projects; Finance and Infrastructure; Information and Communication Technology; and People and Culture.
CECG is seeking a dedicated Child Safety Officer to support the implementation of Child Safe Standards across CECG schools and Early Learning Centres. This role involves delivering professional learning in student and classroom management, guiding schools to meet compliance obligations, and resolving complex parent and student matters. Working closely with the Child Protection Manager and the Safety & Family Services team, the officer ensures schools meet statutory requirements under ACT and NSW Education Acts.
The School and Family Service team is responsible for supporting the Archdiocese in a variety of ways, including working with clinical experts and curriculum advisers to support our schools and their communities at a local level. Using a wealth of knowledge, hands on experience and personal connections with school communities, the School and Family Services team ensures that students and their families are at the heart of everything it does.
