4 Healthcare Recruitment is partnering with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation organisation in Melbourne seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist (Team Leader). The role leads an OT team of over 30 therapists across seven teams in Melbourne, Geelong, Albury/Wodonga and Hobart, with a small clinic caseload.

The successful candidate will manage clinical leadership, oversee adult and paediatric caseloads including brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, CP and intellectual disability, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen required.
• Experience with the NDIS system is desirable.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
• Full COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Occupational Therapy team of over 30 therapists across seven teams.
• Hold a small clinic caseload in home, community and rehabilitation facilities.
• Manage caseloads for adult and paediatric populations including traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disability.

Senior Occupational Therapist (Team Leader)

Our partner organisation is a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation that caters people with neurological conditions. The provides services in the Northern and Western suburbs for both home visits and community based service.

The Role

This role plays a key leadership role in managing the Occupational Therapy team consisting over 30 Occupational Therapist across seven teams located in Melbourne,Geelong, Albury/Wodonga and Hobart. You would also hold a small clinic caseload in the home, community and rehabilitation facilities.

This position is for a Full-time position but candidates that are looking for Part-time roles are also open to apply. The caseload will be for both Adult and Paediatric population assisting people with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability etc.

Qualifications / Essentials

• Minimum of 7 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Valid Australian working rights but also accepts Overseas applicants
• Current AHPRA registration
• Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen.
• Experience working within the NDIS system, desired
• Have a valid Australian Drivers Licence
• Full COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination.
