Tasmanian Health Service, Department of Health, Tasmania, invites applications for a Senior Occupational Therapist in Rural Health based in North West Tasmania. The role rotates across clinical services at North-West Regional and Mersey Community Hospital sites, with induction and strong multidisciplinary collaboration.

The position is fixed-term, part-time (30.4 hours per fortnight) with a pro rata salary from $117,272 to $126,182 per year plus a 12% superannuation contribution.

The Team

We are a close‑knit group of 21 in our OT team, a mixture of locals and new Tasmanian adventurers. We rotate across all of the clinical services provided at both the North‑West Regional and Mersey Community Hospital’s. We are continuously growing, developing new services and re‑designing old ones. It’s an exciting and rewarding place to work, featuring contemporary, evidence‑informed practise that sees you closely linked to the whole multidisciplinary team. Details of appointment

Fixed term part time, day worker position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 9 July 2027.

Salary

$117,272 to $126,182 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Allowances

• Please note that access to salaries beyond $123,487 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum
