Job summary

Canberra Health Services (CHS) is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to lead inpatient OT services within the CHIC portfolio, across acute geriatrics and rehabilitation wards. The role includes clinical leadership, supervision, and independent clinical decision-making in managing a diverse caseload.

You will coordinate workflows, contribute to service development, and engage with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care across CHS locations.

Qualifications

• Senior Occupational Therapist is a clinical leadership role responsible for the coordination and delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services within a designated clinical area.
• The role operates with limited supervision and exercises independent professional judgement in managing a complex clinical caseload.
• The Senior Occupational Therapist contributes to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and engages with multidisciplinary stakeholders to support safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
