Northern Territory PHN seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to support children and adults with disability in a well-resourced, modern practice in Darwin. You will assess, recommend and implement assistive technology, environmental modifications and participation-focused interventions, collaborating with families, schools and GPs.

The role offers mentoring, report-writing training, admin support and flexible hours including an earlier Friday finish.

Formación

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
• Post-graduate clinical experience and independence.
• Experience supporting people living with disability.
• Strong assessment, report-writing and communication skills.
• Person-centred and family-centred approach.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to develop knowledge of the NDIS.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Experience in functional capacity assessments, assistive technology, environmental modifications, NDIS reporting, paediatrics, rural/remote practice or working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients is highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Complete functional capacity assessments and develop evidence-informed recommendations.
• Prescribe assistive technology and equipment.
• Support home and environmental modifications.
• Deliver capacity-building and participation-focused interventions.
• Collaborate with clients, families, schools, support coordinators, GPs and other health professionals; include community, home and outreach work.
