Job summary

Ability Action Australia is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Illawarra region, with flexible hours and a mix of home, community visits, and clinic work. You will contribute to a supportive team and provide high-quality, individualized therapy that aligns with participant goals.

You will manage caseloads, perform comprehensive assessments, and develop biopsychosocial treatment plans while mentoring graduates and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience as an OT or Senior OT beyond graduation.
• Desire to mentor graduates and work in a community-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
• Assess developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function.
• Interpret findings to formulate individual treatment goals.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve quality of life.
• Maintain awareness of current legislation for compliance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support outcomes.
• Caseload tailored to experience and goals; support graduates.
