Job summary

Cerebral Palsy Alliance in Croudace Bay, NSW, is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team. You will provide high quality assessment, intervention and clinical leadership for clients with complex physical disability, supporting children, young people and adults to achieve meaningful goals through seating, mobility and assistive technology.

You will work in a transdisciplinary model, mentor others and contribute to clinical problem solving, with flexible hours

Qualifications

• Experience with complex physical disability clients.
• Strong clinical reasoning and ability to manage complex presentations.
• Interest in assistive technology, seating, mobility and access solutions.
• Experience or interest in vehicle modifications, transport and community participation.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to work transdisciplinarily.
• Person-centred, strengths-based approach.
• Commitment to evidence-informed practice.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality assessment, intervention and clinical leadership for clients with complex disability.
• Manage caseload including seating, wheelchair prescription, postural support and assistive technology trials.
• Support vehicle access and community participation planning.
• Collaborate with families, support workers, teachers and other professionals.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to clinical problem solving.
