Job summary

Central Coast Local Health District is seeking an Occupational Therapist Level 3 to join Gosford Hospital on a temporary full-time basis. You will plan, coordinate and deliver high quality OT care to inpatients and outpatients, with clinical supervision of junior OTs.

The role requires registration as an OT with AHPRA, strong communication, and the ability to lead quality improvement and research activities within a multidisciplinary team. Applications close soon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy and registration as an OT.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong initiative to lead quality improvement and research activities.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation of workload.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level clinical OT care to inpatients and outpatients.
• Supervise Level 1/2 OTs and support service improvements.
• Apply evidence-informed practice and independent problem solving.
• Maintain varied clinical workload while keeping up clinical expertise.
