Job summary

Mid North Coast Local Health District seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist Level 3 to work in the Medical Assessment Unit. You will provide advanced OT services to patients with complex needs and collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based interventions, coordinate services across inpatients, outpatients and community referrals, and contribute to quality improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and eligible for registration.
• Current NSW driver's licence.
• Experienced Occupational Therapist with ability to deliver high-quality patient-focused care in complex settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced occupational therapy services to patients with complex needs.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based interventions.
• Coordinate OT services for inpatients, outpatients and community clients.
• Lead and evaluate quality improvement projects and provide oversight to junior staff.
