Job summary

St Vincent's Health Australia is seeking an experienced Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join the Health Independence Programs (HIP) Community Rehabilitation team in Melbourne. You will deliver client-centred occupational therapy across home and centre-based settings, supporting function, independence and meaningful rehab goals.

Candidates will have four years of post-graduate experience, AHPRA registration, and strong communication and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or other recognised qualification.
• Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
• Minimum four years' post-graduate experience in rehabilitation/community settings.
• Demonstrated OT clinical skills in community rehabilitation.
• Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to professional development and high-quality care.
• Understanding HIP continuum of care and time-limited episodes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred OT services across home and centre-based community rehabilitation settings.
• Support clients recovering from injury/illness and those with chronic conditions to regain function and independence.
• Work within a supportive multidisciplinary team in alignment with HIP goals.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement and patient outcomes.
