Formación

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Unrestricted Australian working rights
• 5+ years of paediatric occupational therapy experience

Responsabilidades

• Lead the paediatric service and set best practice for the clinic.
• Maintain a hands-on caseload while building clinical pathways and documentation standards.
• Mentor future OT hires as the team grows and participate in weekly mentoring and case conferences.
• Collaborate with other therapists (e.g., Speech Pathologists) on joint sessions and service development.

About Our Client

Our client is an established, modern clinic near Penrith with a well-regarded paediatric service. They want an OT to shape what the OT service becomes, and they will purchase the resources you need to do it.

About the Position

You will lead the next chapter of the clinic’s paediatric service. You will keep a hands-on caseload while setting best practice, choosing resources and building the pathways and documentation standards the service runs on.

As the team grows, you will mentor future OT hires. Day to day, you will assess and treat children across fine and gross motor skills, sensory regulation, school readiness and ADLs, with joint sessions alongside Speech Pathologists.

The autonomy to implement your own model sits alongside weekly mentoring and regular case conferences.

Key Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Unrestricted Australian working rights
• 5+ years of paediatric occupational therapy experience
