St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Grade 3 to lead the OT service at Berengarra Residential Aged Care, Kew. This permanent, part-time role (0.6 FTE: 24 hours per week) sits in a senior clinical position within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

You will deliver advanced assessments and interventions, support residents’ independence, and provide clinical leadership while developing staff and students.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy or a relevant Master’s qualification.
• Current AHPRA registration and eligibility for Occupational Therapy Australia.
• Experience supervising staff and students within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced OT assessment, treatment, re-evaluation and care planning across the continuum of care.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions for independence, mobility, falls prevention and equipment needs.
• Provide clinical leadership and contribute to OT service development in residential aged care.
• Coordinate and participate in clinical supervision and student training.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes.
