Job summary

St Vincent’s Health Australia is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Grade 3 for a part-time role (0.6 FTE) in Berengarra Residential Aged Care, Kew. The role provides senior clinical leadership within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment and supports supervision of staff and students.

The successful candidate will have an OT degree (Masters preferred), AHPRA registration, six years’ subacute rehab experience in aged care, and a commitment to evidence-based practice and

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current Victorian driver’s licence.
• Six years' experience in a subacute physical rehabilitation setting with a focus on aged care.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced Occupational Therapy assessment, treatment, re-evaluation and care planning across the continuum of care.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions supporting independence, mobility, falls prevention and resident wellbeing.
• Provide clinical leadership and contribute to development and evaluation of OT services within residential aged care.
• Coordinate and participate in clinical supervision and support staff and student development.
• Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and service delivery.
