South Western Sydney Local Health District – Bowral NSW is seeking an experienced Obstetrician & Gynecologist to deliver contemporary O&G services across inpatient, ambulatory and on-call settings at Bowral Hospital.

You will contribute to safe, patient-centred care, teach junior medical staff, and participate in governance and quality improvement activities within a collaborative team. This role supports flexible, patient-focused maternity care in a growing regional community.

Qualifications

• Current medical practitioner registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Board of Australia and a Fellow of RANZCOG.
• Eligible for Medical Indemnity Coverage (Levels 2–5).
• Eligible for the Expedited Specialist Pathway for UK/ Ireland trained specialists with supervised practice requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical management within CE privileges under SWSLHD.
• Deliver obstetric and gynaecological care for pregnant patients in a Level 3 maternity service.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Educate, supervise and mentor junior medical officers and students.
• Support multidisciplinary teamwork and continuity of care.
