Job summary
Optimum Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Nursing Leader to own compliance, quality and clinical governance across disciplines. Based in Sydney with travel to clinics across NSW/Tasmania, you will lead the Nursing team, manage audits, and ensure audit readiness for NDIS and aged care standards.
AHPRA-registered senior nurse with governance experience is essential. You'll report to the General Manager/COO and collaborate with regional managers and clinical leaders to translate regulatory
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
- Senior leadership experience in governance, quality and compliance.
- Experience in NDIS, aged care or community health settings.
- Direct experience leading NDIS and/or aged care audits.
- Working knowledge of WHS legislation and safety management systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and support the Nursing team including recruitment and development.
- Set nursing scope of practice and delegation frameworks.
- Oversee clinical care delivery including complex care and medication management.
- Monitor AHPRA registration, competencies and training.
- Maintain a small clinical caseload alongside governance responsibilities.
- Own the clinical governance framework and quality management system.
